Group Exhibition: Annual Summer Group Show, Beside The Wave London
As I start my journey away from design work and back to my roots as a fine artist, I am working hard to put myself out there. When the opportunity arose in my very own neighborhood in London to partake in a group showing at the local gallery, it felt right to jump. Having stayed away from exhibiting since graduating college many years ago, it was a bit daunting but mostly exciting to get back into the mix.
For the show at Beside The Wave, which was centered around the theme ‘place,’ I decided to bring out my Primrose Hill favorites. Two mixed media pieces (one ink and paint and the other ink and hand embroidery) alongside a simple drawing, made it into the show and held their place among the other talented creatives.
The opening evening last week was packed with art lovers, family, friends, and passerby’s. It was a celebration that was full of enthusiasm for the artists and their work. I couldn’t have asked for a better location to jump back into gallery showings with. I am excited to what the future holds now as I continue down this path!
