A few months back, Peter and I began his rebranding journey. As a wedding photographer from England, he wanted a brand that told his story and connected to his clients. I loved hearing about Peter's adventures through life and the passion he has for his work—its apparent through his photographs as well his encouraging words constantly flowing out on social media. If you are looking for a guy that is going to be 110 percent there for you as a photographer and be beyond excited for your journey, Peter is your guy.
After chatting and learning about Peter it was clear that besides his immense passion for his job, he had a longing for nature—the trekking through the great outdoors with the tall pines overhead. Through our conversations, I knew I was the perfect fit to work on his logo together. Once we were on the same visual page, it was time to begin sketching and drafting the concepts.
Here's a look at the rounds of sketching we went through to find his perfect logo.
And here we are with the final logo for Peter Reynolds Photography!
It was such a pleasure working with Peter. The vision he created for his brand from the start to get the process going helped us get off on the best foot possible as we began down his rebranding path. Together we were able to create a brand that his couples will be able to love and connect to—all with the help of handmade branding. I can't stress enough how much a brand has the power to stand out through this organic approach. You aren't getting a cookie-cutter font or stock vector art; what you are getting is something that tells your story and makes you different. No one else is going to have the same brand that you have! That is incredibly important. The handmade process challenges that and pushes branding so much further.
I would like to give a shout out to Peter for allowing me to be his go-to for branding. Working with him couldn't have been a more enjoyable process. He had his mission and love for his company at the forefront of it all which let my creativity step in and flow so naturally. Peter's logo and branding is sophisticated but bring in his earthy style—a huge part of who he is. Opting to use earth tones throughout the brand brought in some warmth to the design which will translate well to his ideal wedding clients. That warmth creates a sense of comfort and should go hand in hand with love and marriage, right? I think so!
